FBA shipment possibly lost by UPS

My shipment was supposed to be delivered on 6/24 and the last tracking update was 6/22. Tracking now says the delivery date will be provided as soon as possible. The last tracking update does show it's in the city it's supposed to be delivered in. I contacted UPS and they said at this point they consider it lost or missing, but Amazon has to inquire about shipment issues. I contacted Amazon and they told me it is not considered lost or missing because it still shows "In Transit". When does Amazon consider it lost?

Are you shipping TO Amazon (FBA) or are you shipping to a customer?

If it's FBA you have to wait for the reconcile date (usually 30+ days after delivery).

What is the date on which you request an investigation into this shipment? That will be listed on the Contents tab of the shipment. Let me know!
