My wholesale Supplier does not want to provide me with information regarding their authentic brand supply chain to get my Amazon account reactivated
Dear All,
I have provided Amazon with technical writing documentation that proves that my Wholesale supplier gets their products from the following authentic supply chain:
1) Go to the brands official website
2) Click on Global Istagram link on the brands official brand Website
3) Click on link under brands Instagram Photo to locate authentic suppliers from brands
4) On authentic suppliers list of authorized sellers , I select my wholsalers retail sister company
5) On my wholsalers retail sister company website under "About us" I click on "Wholesale"
6) Once I click on "Wholesale" I get redirected to my wholesale Suplliers website where if you a registered business, you can order products in wholesale at a discount price.
What else can I do to prove that I am selling authentic products as step 1 starts from the brands official website?
I had a few complaints from customers and now my account is deactivated due to counterfeit claims.
My wholesale supplier has requested proof of the product being counterfeit so that the issue can be addressed.
Both the retail and wholesale company are part of a list of other family related companies that are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Can someone please HELP ME as this is my only form of income and I will be homeless if this issue is not resolved.
Sincerely
Ishaaq

They could be authentic products, but your wholesaler (retail?) is probably not an approved supplier with Amazon. If the wholesaler won't give you what you need, then you should probably cut ties with them.
Make sure you are sourcing from a legitimate source. The wholesaler most likely doesn't have authorization to allow you to sell as a 3rd party on a marketplace.

Hello @Beautiful_MMI,
Thank you for following up on your concerns with authenticity.
May I get me a new supplier and run all future brand products with the intention to utilize the Amazon Transparency program for brand protection please?
This decision will be determined by our review team, from the concerns you’ve mentioned here it is unlikely that future invoices can be accepted. You will be required to submit your original invoices to show proof of authenticity of the mentioned product.
I would advise reviewing our responsible sourcing documentation request requirements to ensure the information you provide meets our expectations to assist in reactivating your account.
As I had previously provided our help page on invoice requirements, you may be able to work with your supplier to have them reissue your invoice to show proof of authenticity, if your supplier is an authorized distributor.
I gave the virtual assistant expert, user permission to provide the documentation and invoice to be ungated for this brand which was approved by Amazon.
When you made your purchase of the inventory, were the invoices in your store or companies name, or the virtual assistants?

Hello @Beautiful_MMI,
Thank you for posting your follow up concerns regarding your account deactivation.
I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the ongoing deactivation of my Amazon seller account. Despite my repeated attempts to address the authenticity concerns that led to the account suspension, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution or even a clear pathway to reactivation. The brand as I mentioned to the seller support team was not done correctly by my virtual assistant who has also had her profile removed from Fiverr.
I would like to advise that even if your virtual assistant did not list the product correctly, this is a very serious requirement to ensure accounts compliance to prevent authenticity and intellectual property violations.
We will require that you provide invoices that show the products listed and or sold match the products listing page. This will include aspects like product name and brand along with the quantity sold over the last 365 days from the original concern.
If these documents do not exist or cannot be provided, there may not be an ability to reactivate the account as this is required to move forward in these situations.
This decision will be determined by our review team, from the concerns you’ve mentioned here it is unlikely that future invoices can be accepted. You will be required to submit your original invoices to show proof of authenticity of the mentioned product.
As previously mentioned, you can attempt to explain your situation in an appeal but these are only typically accepted in very unique situations. If through your explanation, we do not offer a different path, you will still be required to submit the original documentation as proof of authenticity.

They don't want to provide it because it doesn't exist. Thats my opinion.

The answer to your question is simple. You are not buying from the manufacturer or their authorized distributor. I am not sure you under the different types of distributors, meaning the real ones, and the fake ones.
1. Real Distributor:
- EX 1: The manufacture makes the product in a home location but does not sell the product there. They sell their products thru a distributorship office, one on the east coast, and one on the west coast. The only place you can buy the product is from those 2 locations. Each has a sales rep, and you can only buy from that Rep with a company account. they take your order and the factory ships. If there is any problem, the Rep will take your returns, and you get wholesale pricing.
- EX 2: The manufacture makes the product is a home location but does not sell the product there. The country is divided into territories, each with a Rep. When you want their product, you contact the manufacture, who intern takes your business information and gives it to your local Rep. The Rep makes personal calls to your business to see if you are who you are, and will stop by to refund any products you have a problem with.
2. The fake distributor:
This is the distributor you need to watch out for. They are actually just a retail store calling themselves a distributor (because they distribute to the public, products of others). They sell anything they can get their hands on cheap. They have the accounts with manufacturer's and buy wholesale, then mark it up and sell it to you (at the so called wholesale price). They don't carry any manufacturer's full line just stuff they can buy for cheap. They can even through in a few counterfeit items depending on how smart they believe YOU to be. They sell with an ALL SALES FINAL policy (because their deals and pricing are so good).
If you go to trade shows, you will find the real and fake distributors are both there. When you talk with the real manufacture distributor, they say we would like to have you as a customer, here is our wholesale pricing. When you talk with the fake distributor, they tell you all kinds of reasons they are the best to buy from. You look at their pricing and compare it to the other and see they are selling for $10 more per unit, and walk away. BUT...……………..There is more to the story as Paul Harvey used to say.
The fake distributor, while you, the smart seller, didn't buy from him, others placed orders with them for 5,000 units @ $10 more. So...…..at the end of the show, the fake distributors goes to the manufacture's booth and orders 5,000 products @ $10 less, and takes home a profit of $50,000 on unsuspecting buyers. And now you know the rest of the story. What type of distributor are you using?

Amazon knows what an invoice includes.
An invoice is used when Your business has a retail commercial credit account with the manufacturer. Most all included.
- YOUR: business name, business address, business phone, sales tax exempt number, your EIN number, your credit line, terms of sale
- MANUFACTURER’S: address, phone, EIN number, account Rep’s name
- PRODUCT’S: quantity, SKU-Model number,
- DISCOUNTS PROCESSES ON THIS PURHASE: quanity, sale, specials
- TERMS OF SHIPPING: method, who pays, company used, tracking number
Some have more, and some have less, but they all use the same basic format. Even when you call and make a small online order and pay by credit card, an invoice is still sent to you separately containing all of the above.
If you purchased the items from a distributor using cash and carry, or on-line with a credit card, you are not buying from the manufacturer.
Letters of Authorizations, the trick request by Amazon.
Did you notice that Amazon may ask for a manufacturer’s invoice first, then asks for/or a letter of authorization? Amazon knows how businesses are operated.
If you have a commercial retailers account with a manufacturer, your invoice as described above will suffice. You will not need a Letter of Authorization because the invoice says it all. If you really need one, your manufacturer Rep handling your account could get one for you.
If you do not actually have a commercial account with the manufacturer, Amazon knows companies will not give any letter of authorization to individuals with out an account.
