Unsolvable problem?
I’ve got one of those problems that arise occasionally and seems to be something that Seller Support just cannot seem to understand or resolve.
It concerns 9 different shipments I’ve made to Germany. They all check in, are received and ultimately close without errors. Then they disappear. They are not visible in the ‘inventory ledger’ report, or the new ‘custom report builder’ and they are not credited to my stock.
Above is the headline view of the issue, but there is more detail. I’m part of the ‘Amazon/Avask’ shipping promotion, which means that I send stock to a designated UK fulfilment centre (SXW2) and Amazon ship it over to Germany whilst Avask do the customs clearance. I’ve been part of this for a year now and it worked great until the beginning of March when the shipments started taking a long time to receive. Now they have vanished and I have raised over 40 individual cases to try to get to the bottom of what’s going on. Seller support are just not able to deal with this and I fear that I’ll never get this stock located, sellable or returned to me.
It’s one of times that I realise that if I paid for a dedicated account manager, everything would have been sorted by now, but left to the front line of seller support this is a total disaster.

Go to inventory ledger and change the type of report to detailed view then under event type select adjustments and tick lost and found
Change the date range to cover your shipments period and see if you can see the missing items ie inventory misplaced and no corresponding inventory found
Then copy the fnsku and go to help - contact us and type in misplaced inventory and then choose inventory lost in fba warehouse and enter your fnsku
