Customer claims order is returned? Yeah right?

Customer has claimed they returned their order of solvent based paint with Royal Mail to our hazmat registered warehouse.

Royal Mail prohibit the shipping of hazmat solvent based liquids & paint.

The buyer cannot provide a tracking number & a signed proof of delivery of their return & our Goods Inwards reported no return was received.

You know whats coming next?

Yes, the buyer opens a a-z claim & after appeal is refunded & our ODR is affected!! So now the buyer has our paint & now our money!

So now clearly, there is one rule for sellers to provide proof of delivery & tracking BUT buyers returning their orders can make up any story & be refunded. DOUBLE STANDARDS ONCE AGAIN FROM AMAZON!!.

When will this stop.....!

Nothing surprises me anymore; my ODR was affected because of a pending order. Customer didn't receive it and opened A-Z claim, I hadn't been able to send it as it was pending, yet I am at fault.

It's strange because the same thing happened to me, but in my case, the customer lost the A-to-Z claim as they had no proof of returning the item. How did you lose your A-to-Z claim? On what grounds was it accepted?

Amazon’s A-to-Z team should only approve a claim if the customer used an Amazon-issued return label and can provide valid proof that the item was either posted or delivered. Without this, they have no basis to accept the claim.

If they approved it without such proof, you should keep appealing. Present the facts clearly, demand your payment back, and request the removal of the ODR impact. Eventually, they will reverse the decision, especially if a moderator steps in to review it properly.
