Different UPC same product?

So I was approved to sell a product on Amazon. However, I came to find out that the UPC listed on amazon for the product was not the same as the UPC listed on my product. I tested the code online and both the UPC listed on amazon and the one on my product came up in the catalog.

But if I use the UPC label on Amazon I would have to cover the UPC on my product and if any concerns came up, The customer would be able to see I am using 2 different UPC labels and that is against amazon policy.

Any help on what I should do?

Hello @Seller_9pwY78NJPl9jc,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. As per the Product Detail Page Rules, "You cannot edit, update, or add the product ID for a listing that has been created with GTIN exemption. Product ID is a non-editable value and cannot be modified once a listing is created. If you want to update the product ID for a listing that has been created with GTIN exemption, you must delete and create a new listing of the product with a GS1 approved product identifier."

You will want to use the UPC on the product.

Regards,

- Manny
