Some people say that if you buy from Amazon or Walmart you can sell on Amazon marketplace and amazon accepts invoices but only if the seller is Amazon. Everyone says different. Do you have any experience with that?

I've seen people who claim Amazon UK have accepted Amazon.com invoices and allowed them to keep selling and I've seen people complaining their Amazon.com invoices have not been accepted, their funds witheld and their stock destroyed. If those claiming their invoices were accepted are telling the truth then it does appear Amazon has very inconsistent rules.

There are lies, dam lies and the internet (used to be statistics, but the internet is far worse). It seems the level of expertise of social media posters is inversely proportional to their knowledge. Seller university is the only real source of facts. Even this forum, whilst very informative, has different experiences and opinions, you just have to take a balanced view. As others have said, what you suggest has big risks and there are hugely better business models.

At the point they purchase it from you, it has not yet been sold to a retail customer, making it new.
If you sell what has already been purchased retail (such as through Amazon), then it becomes used, like new.

I assume amazon do the due diligence of course on the supply chain of who they are buying from (and of course it is possibly why they do this due diligence in the first place)
