Business moving to another state

We are moving our business on 8.1.2024 to another state.

We don't have a shipping address until we actually move there. And I think we will have to get new LLC and therefore will get a new retail license and new federal EIN.

Please give us some advice for a smooth move so there won't be any interruptions.

First advice:

Talk to your lawyer and accountant.

Second advice, as only a thought for the above:

If you have an LLC now and you wish to create a new one, you probably need to sell the old one to the new one. Then I think your new business may be able to show that transaction to Amazon and keep your existing Amazon account.

I think you should figure out how to keep your existing business and whether your existing business name can be registered in your new state. If so, I believe all you would need to do is register in the new state, change your business address at the FED level and close your business in your existing state. If there is a time you will be in between, you may look into establishing a PO box temporarily to do all the paperwork and become an established entity in the new state.

Also, the "best" time to do these type of things is usually at the end of your fiscal year. Not sure if you can wait that long though.

But again, the best advice is talk to your lawyer / accountant first to determine the legal part of this equation, then you can figure out the Amazon part.

Best of luck.
