Absurd split shipment quantities. Algorithm is broken, or not programmed correctly.

I normally ship full pallets. When I see the split shipment suggestions from Amazon, I have to laugh at the choices that their algorithm chooses in their splits. Imagine suggesting suggesting 3 pallets from my one single pallet and the numbers are 28, 9 and 1.

Who the heck would ship one small box on a huge pallet? That's gonna get lost for sure. I regularly get suggestions of 4-7 boxes on a single pallet. Do any of you do that? I would never. And the shipping costs for 3 locations does not beat the reduction of placement fees. So this whole exercise is all for nothing and looks like a money grab.

So, I end up sending one pallet to one location and have to eat the full cost of the placement fee, soon to be added to my retail price.
