Invoice or receipt for Non VAT Registered
Amazon automatically generate receipts for me as im not vat registered. A business buyer is saying they need something with invoice on it so they can pay it.
Do i tell them im not vat registered and nothing i can do, or do i use template to create an invoice?

They probably want a vat receipt, generally its what people mean when they ask for an invoice using the term incorrectly. Technically all documents given by Amazon should be receipts (which are given after payment has been made) and not invoices (which is basically a document requesting payment) - with the exception of a some customers that Amazon seem to give credit to.
I would ask them why the document supplied does not suit, you will probably find they come back and tell you that its because there is no vat breakdown, in which case you can explain you are not vat registered and can not provide a vat receipt.

I did ask and they said The invoice needs to say invoice on it. im sure you are right so should just say im not vat registered and leave it at that.
but knowing amazon they may just refund customer at first sign of any issue.

As they’re a business buyer, they’re simply looking for an invoice for their records. You can put on one line VAT - £0.00 then the total at the bottom.
Are you not setup with Amazon for them to automatically provide business invoices/receipts?
