Removal Order Issue - Almost a year but still not shipped by Amazon

We have had a lot of removal orders from Amazon since last year, but they still haven't shipped them out. When we try to escalate, they keep saying they cannot do anything and that the orders are in "Pick Status."
They suggest we cancel the removal and create a new one.
However, when we tried that, they still haven't shipped out the items. This is so frustrating. Can anyone share their experiences on how to handle this?

If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…………....

I had one FBA return take 2 years.
As an added bonus, it was a switcheroo return as well.
