How do you get Amazon to deal with a scammer Dropshipper

Hi
I have caught a dropshipper out, he has had a few orders and always claims item not received. He is on ebay selling items and i have contacted on of the customers who he said has not had the item,They are a business so i searched for the contact number.
The customer has confirmed that they have had the item, so how do i get amazon to deal with him and has refund requests?

Unfortunately, Amazon is very unlikely to take any action on reports of someone being a dropshipper.

The only thing you can do to protect yourself against non-receipt claims is by shipping everything tracked and with a signature confirmation on delivery.

Tell him you have contacted his customer (include customer details) and say he is happy to provide a statement confirming receipt and tell him you have reported him to both Ebay and Amazon make sure that you do.

I did the same to a notorious Amazon drop shipper last year and all ended well.

Report it to amazon as they can check the customers track record of requested refunds. We reported a customer who kept buying from us but kept saying the items never arrived and they never bought from us again (guessing amazon blocked or sent them a warning). Why would anyone buy from a seller whom they know products will never get delivered?

Also contact the drop shipper via ebay and tell them you’ll be reporting them to HMRC whether you’ll do it or not (it’ll make them shake in their boots). Don’t tell them you’re a seller from amazon.

Doesn’t Amazon do anything about fraudulent buyers?! This is a simple case of Fraud and Amazon should take Fraud much more seriously!

I recently encountered the same issue. This lady is buying up amazon stock and exporting it via qoo10.sg for a hefty markup. She could have bought all she wanted from me except she has cancelled many orders upon them being marked as shipped. The first time, the courier hasn’t collected.

Next she placed 3 large orders one after the other being marked shipped. Before any arrived she file a returns request. She also filed an A-Z claim one of the orders wasn’t deliver. I paid for a signature on all 3 orders but the courier failed to get one for the 2nd order. I arranged collection to which the first time failed and the items were only suspiciously collected after Amazon did not automatically grant her the refund.

In total the orders were worth £275, £440 and £550 so it caused me a great deal of stress. She complained that I affected her business operations. If your business is dropshipping from amazon and trying to defraud honest sellers then you need to reconsider your business model.

I did get them all back but one of the orders was posted to our registered offices and the other to our warehouse. It was really dodgey to say the least. And this lady has an amazon seller account which doesn’t look very active built lists similar goods to what she bought. She lists the ones she bought from me on qoo10.sg. I found her seller account on both platforms and sent them to amazon in my A-Z fight. I think she should be suspended for malicious activity. She’s abusing the returns system to operate her business and god knows if she is returning her own returns from qoo10.sg. Mine seemed ok but the packaging was a little bit worse for wear. She needs to be stopped, I could have got 4 defects over 3 orders but amazon dcided in my favour so I walked away with one.

If you get no joy with Amazon and it keeps happening, why don’t you contact Action Fraud

We have a 1 strike policy with dropshippers, we dont condone them but if they don’t cause us problems then its money in our pocket, but if they give us any grief then they get blacklisted and we arbitrarilly cancel their orders before dispatch until they get the message and Foxtrot Oscar.

Funnily enough, Amazon had a survey on seller central today along the lines of ‘Amazon works in the best interests of sellers, agree/disagree’

I disagreed and added a comment that ‘Amazon does not do enough to protect marketplace sellers from buyer fraud and illegitimate dropshippers’.

I think it is nothing short of a disgrace and a scandal that Amazon actually enables fraudulent dropshippers.

It’s bad enough that dropshippers operating on ebay can defraud Amazon sellers but what’s far more damning is that Amazon allows and even apparently encourages dropshipping within Amazon itself.
This is done via the creation of a parallel catalogue of millions of bogus duplicate ASINs, mostly created (it seems) by a hardcore of fraudulent Amazon sellers.
It’s an issue regularly highlighted on here in numerous threads going back several years.

Other than instituting a not-very-effective merge process, what has Amazon done to stem these virtual crooks?
