Other resellers selling at 50% less price
Hello all!
I had been selling many products on Amazon and at a price which was like 15% in Margin from buying costs of products but recently a reseller has listed many of the products at a lot cheaper retail price which is even less than the buying cost of the products. So my question is that how that seller can get such low prices for the products if the retail price is even less than the buying cost of those products.
For example one of my product which includes buying cost, shipping, prep, and Amazon fee to be £6.88 was set for a retail price of £8 was listed by that seller at £5. So how is this possible that this seller is having any profit in FBA selling plan?
How can he be having such greater discounts?
Thank you

Could be a number of things. Maybe they negotiated a better price from the supplier, maybe they’re trying to get rid of stock to help improve their IPI / SUR, maybe they’re trying to avoid higher storage fees. Maybe they haven’t understood the fees or have a rogue repricing software.

The other seller could be buying from a source that wanted rid of their stock quickly. Or the seller could need funds quickly so will price to sell. I’d only be looking in to it more if they keep replenishing their items at their current prices.
