Be warned. An AI-generated picture as proof of damage to the item.

Hi guys,

Just want to share this with you.

It happened to me today for the very first time, and it was quite obvious, but some scammers (thieves?) may try it.

I might be missing something obvious but how do you know it is AI generated?

The sheer blackness of the slit looked suspicious to me, and then look at the eyelet; it's filled in rather than showing the background part.

People will go to any lengths, won't they! I imagine this is only going to become more common and harder to spot.

I dont think I would have replied like that, you're just asking them to get angry for calling them out and open an A-Z which Amazon will of course approve. Then you've lost either way.

I would have asked for the same photo but from the other side, just to 'confirm excatly how the damage could have occurred to avoid the same thing happening to other customers'.

AI would not have been able to generate the exact same image in a thousand years, they wouldn't have replied, case closed, they move on to easier targets...
