Setting up free shipping

Hi. Can anyone help me set up free shipping? From what I can see, the instructions received via email and those on the Seller Central page are incomplete, worryingly over-complicated and in places, contradictory. I have had an advisor call me up offering to talk me through, but their instructions ran like an LP record playing at 78rpm.

I consider myself to be quite competent with a PC and a keyboard but have little patience for badly-written software/web pages and obscure instructions. So, if there is a straightforward way to convert to free shipping and to adjust pricing accordingly, can someone let me know?

Incidentally, I have a few thousand items in my inventory, if that is of any relevance.

My apologies for being so dense…

Assuming you are on one of the Pro plans it's quite straight forward assigning SKUs to a shipping template. If you're on an Individual Plan you have to go with Amazon's default shipping allowance.

Create your free shipping template; cog top right - Shipping Settings.

Then Manage All Listings - Active Listings. Check the List Status box, brings up a box at the bottom of the page, Select Group Action, brings up a new box; choose Change Shipping Template and assign to the desired template . Looks like you have to do a page at time.

The difficult bit is changing the prices which I don't think you can do within Amazon in bulk. Can you change them with your inventory management software and upload the changes?
