Re: double seal on glass bottle for FBA
Hi Everyone,
We've been selling these glass bottled syrups and we are ready to send them to FBA. It's been confusing and we are not 100% clear if our bottle at this point qualifies for the "double seal" requirement.
This is our product:

It is sealed in such way by the manufacturer. 2 Questions:
- Would we still need another layer of protection over this original seal or would this be accepted by FBA?
- We will wrap them up then box them individually, label them as required. Or send the bottles loose, and have Amazon's FBA handle the individual wrap / box portion.
If you had either experience, please share so it will make it easier to decide which option will work best.
Thank you.

Hello, welcome to Amazon!
I would strongly suggesting packing and wrapping them yourselves. There are a world of issues within FBA. These are the same people that put breakable items in plastic bags for shipping. You want to ensure your product is best packaged for the customer to ensure good reviews and a positive customer experience.
Doing this would also meet the double seal requirements as it is manufacturer sealed and then package sealed.

Prepare your items as if Amazon will throw them in a flimsy poly bag with no protection and ship them out. Because that is what they'll do.

Greetings @Seller_UATfnOeTEfjE2,
I recommend checking out the Product packaging requirements as it generally addresses most issues for most products. As your products are liquid and in glass containers, and thus fragile, you may wanna check out the Packaging liquids, pastes, gels, and creams page specifically. I hope this helps you figure out how to prep your units. Thank you for your understanding.
