ASIN Brand hijacked- URGENT!

Hi Jim,

I found through other seller posts, wanted to reach out as my ASIN is hijacked since March 6, reported abuse, case is filed but the hijacker sits on my listing starting 8AM every morning up until 9PM EST. Steals buy box, sales. They have already got counterfeit in their seller feedback, not sure why they are not trashed yet.

ASIN: B0DJPS8CT4

CaseID: 17398292161, required screenshots, case history is presented already to internal team & is being reviewed, I just wanted to know the timeline for the same & what is exactly happening since its a week, I lost rank/sales and completely anxious.

I have also reported violation on Brand Registry, Case ID: 17403172411

Please help me!! I am the only brand registered owner of OHaai, need protection.

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I happy to assist wherever I am able. The case ID and complaint ID you mentioned which are both still in review so I cannot comment on how that will turn out.

I always advise reviewing the Intellectual Property for Rights Owners help page. I suggest paying specific attention to the "Types of notices not accepted on Amazon," section. Specifically the Exclusive Distribution bullet point. Report a violation submissions should include Specific identification of the IP you believe is infringed.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or if you need assistance after a decision is made on your complaint ID.

Honestly, I had not considered that and YES you can absolutely create a virtual bundle. Since virtual bundles are confined to Brand Representatives benefits ONLY, you would be the only one that can create and list them.

EXCELLENT outside the box thinking!!

Since it was your idea, I am sure you already know how to create them, but for any other sellers following this thread, here is the Virtual product bundles help page that has eligibility criteria and the step by step process.

Hi @Dougal_Amazon thanks, I am just thinking of ways to prevent any future hijackings up until my trademark is approved fully; have created the bundle yesterday keeping this affected ASIN as the primary component, you can see it on my listing. Additionally, have reported violation on both these sellers under other categories highlighting their inability to bundle.

You can see both these hijackers still on my listing. I will fight this out.

I should have mentioned yesterday that I want to recognize that a Seller who is selling a product that is different than the product on the detail page IS against policy and I will continue to work with you on properly reporting this or escalating if necessary.

I will periodically check in on your complaint ID's, but please keep me posted.

For complaint ID 17478761701, based on their response yesturday, I do not think they are fully grasping what you are reporting. I advise that you Go through Report Abuse via the Account Health dashboard and select "The product received is different than the product on the detail page (different version, model or product)." Provide the order ID and in the details state only facts. The product you received is different than the detail page. It does not have the branded box as is shows in the detail page and lacks a UPC.

I do not have an update on 17507831041, but given the response you received on complaint ID 17478761701, I recommend reporting this again via the same idea as provided above. State only facts specific to the type of abuse you are reporting.

Please let me know how this goes.

Hi @Dougal_Amazon thanks, I have tried reporting 3 times, twice yesterday night and one this morning, not getting any email with complaint ID? What can be the issue? I did chat with seller support yesterday after submission, they asked to see if I receive it today.

This is the message I submitted: ‘chuwudianzi’ seller is selling a different product on ASIN B0DJPS8CT4 in the US marketplace (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJPS8CT4). The detail page shows OHaai patches with a box and has a FNSKU barcode (main image and listing images). Test buy Order ID 113-7003098-4413044 , received it contained just a set of patches with no box and is completely different from the product on the detail page.

Submitted thrice from yesterday but did not receive any email with Complaint ID, chatted with seller support who just said Amazon will investigate and I won't receive any complaint # but previously I did receive. Can you pls check this one?

I would sincerely appreciate it if the team can expedite since its close to a month & the hijacker is enjoying all my sales and pushed my listing hard along with ranking/sales. I am really frustrated!

Thank you for the complaint ID. With how the information you provided in this complaint ID, you received the correct response. You need to stick to only facts when reporting, state simply that the item you received is different than the detail page. I really do understand your frustration, but mentioning counterfeit will trigger the response to report an Intellectual Property violation. You cannot currently report a counterfeit because your TM is still pending. This is why you received the response you did.

Your report of abuse should be focused solely on the fact that you received a different product than the Detail page.
