DPD very expensive, which make SFP unrealistic and bad idea, you may need to use royal mail track service, however, SFP for cheap item is not cost effective idea.

DPD is on on a tier billing. There are 9 tiers, so the more you send, the cheaper it gets. For bigger and bulkier items, say 20kg box 18’’ x 18’’ x 18’’ this is £6.15.

Royal Mail tracked for smaller items is much cheaper, for RM 24 this can be £4.50 etc but you can negotiate a rate with your RM account manager, for the volume that you send.

For a £9.99 item, SFP most likely isnt worth it because you have to use a fully tracked service

Is your 9.99 item over a certain weight? As DPD will automatically come up if it is over a certain weight. We have had this issue many times when we only have a Royal Mail Account and it comes up with DPD. We have had to contact Amazon SS and they have talked us through the best way to go about this and it worked, I would definitely recommend you speak to them.

you need to either
a-sync your royal mail account to your sfp orders
or
b- use dpd
if you dont you wont pass your trial even if your orders get to the customers on time it wont be with the “preferred courier” amazon state
