Why do Amazon just take money from your account? A-Z issues - yet again. Awful seller support -yet again.

We have just had an A-Z granted against us, then refused on appeal for an item which has NEVER been returned to us. Is this normal that Amazon just take money from you even though tracking shows that an item has NOT been returned?

Amazon don't even follow their own policies,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GV38326YW5JX9V9X

Refunds - Once the seller receives the returned item, they will issue the refund within two business days.

I am appalled at the way Amazon treat sellers. We have done nothing wrong, never received a return item back and the tracking evidence shows this, yet Amazon just take £30 regardless and clsoe the case.

Tracking clearly shows a problem and shows that the package has NOT been returned to us,

Evri tracking number T00WLA4660760454

Any Amazon forum moderator that can look into this or should it be email to managing-director.co.uk to escalate or a letter before action to recover the funds taken.

no it hasn’t been returned to you, but was the return label supplied by Amazon?

If so then refund at first scan should take place. If it didn’t, then the policy as written is that you should claim for lost or damaged returns through Evri (max claim £20)

Ideally the customer would have contacted you first rather than going straight to A-Z but this one you were an unlucky one unfortunately.

It sounds like maybe it was sent to the customer under 1 ref number, eg 123-45678-98765 but they then returned in 2 packages. I believe in this case Amazon would just class 1 return as the full package as it was originally sent.
