Inventory Planning vs. Restock Report

Which data should you use for your restock date and recommended quantity: Inventory Planning or Restock report?

Currently, the Restock Inventory report is your best source for restock recommendations, including suggested quantities and ship dates. This report helps optimize your inventory management by balancing product demand with stock levels. You can tailor these recommendations by adjusting parameters like lead time and case pack quantities.

Important update: The Restock Inventory report will be phased out after we add all critical metrics from this report to the FBA Inventory report. The new FBA Inventory report provides a consolidated view of your sales (7, 30, 60, and 90 days), shipment statuses (working, received, and shipped), inventory in various states across Amazon fulfillment network, recommended restock units, excess units, and aged inventory (including applicable fees), recommended actions and so on, and will be a single report to download to cover all your FBA inventory metric requirements.

The FBA Inventory report doesn't include inactive listings. Fair enough. By extension though, it also doesn't include out of stock listings, meaning you can't rely soley on it and must track listings and inventory manually, and thus is not a single report to download to cover all your FBA inventory metric requirements. If I already have to track everything manually to recover after going out of stock then this report is almost entirely useless.

Can the report be changed to include out of stock listings? If people don't want OOS listings on it they can filter then out easily.

Thanks for that heads-up @Seller_XuzmXXUIMHtah. I fixed those links.

I reached out to our partner team with your question/suggestion about a larger scope for the FBA inventory report.
