Import Duties- who pays?
I am a seller in the US, shipping items (from the US) to a customer in Canada. The Canadian customer purchased on Amazon.ca marketplace. Do I (the seller) have to pay import duties? How would i even know what they are? Or is the customer responsible to pay the duties upon receipt of the item?
Thanks

We have an arrangement with FedEx - They pick up the fees (except for Provence Tax) for shipments less than $200 Canadian.. USPS prices are way too high now -

If a Canadian buyer purchases from the Canadian site, they must not face any sort of import duties/ fees.
You must either prepay those, or if value is low, use USPS.
Whatever you do -- don't just send it UPS. They slap on an outrageous collection fee on top of the minimal customs duties. Demanding this from the recipient.
