Duplicate seller account
Hi, I created an amazon seller account and completed the process when the button launch came up and I clicked it. It gave the error that another account with same details is already present. I then did some research and found that it was my old amazon buyer account which my wife had posted some adds something like a year ago. Now Im trying to delete the the account but to no avail. I tried deleting all the info like address moblie etc, from that account but nothing seems to work. How to get my new seller account active and delete the old account ?
Some one please help Ive been sitting on it for 48 hours.

Amazon allows 1 Seller Account per household, unless you obtain a prior permission from the Seller Performance.
You will need to close the second account, which you just opened and keep the old one.

If selling different products previously and a private seller, but now wishing to register as a business selling different products, then ask Amazon permission for a second account, or close the old one if dormant to allow a new one.
As advised, you can normally only have one account at your address, but exceptions are possible with permission if you have a good reason, as above?

h there, I got in similar situation. Completely forgotten about my old account and created a new one!
After a couple items sold Amazon blocked access to the new account. And I spent like 5 days ringing without any success as I was puzzled as why the new account was placed on hold.
Now I am at a loss what to do however magically was able to find my old account and log in into it.
Can I get my money back from the new account? and I need to post an Item I sold on Monday and cant access the account.
any advice would be appreciated!
