Amazon is prompting AND writing refund requests?! 😠
I send a lot of letter sized items, postage purchased with BuyShipping, 1st Class, which doesn’t provide tracking. We have known for a while that Amazon when there is no tracked proof of delivery will show a message on the order telling the buyer to request a refund. Which is annoying enough. But it happened rarely, till this week when all of a sudden I received 3 messages from different customers but with almost identical content. Did Amazon introduce some kind of templates or AI for buyers to use, etc? Did you guys experience this?
The messages all say “I still have not received my order even though the estimated delivery date has passed. Can you expedite the shipment or provide additional tracking information for my order no. ------------------ if the item is expected to arrive soon, or otherwise process a full refund?”

I had 2 of them 1 day last week
I did wonder if it was an amazon messages template or a YouTuber promoting it

Yeah, I have had several of these. exactly the same wording, and started a thread an hour after you ( oops! ) and the same situation as yourself with the types of letters sent. A few times in the past I have also had people send screenshots of updates from Amazon telling them to expect their delivery by a time in the evening ( I forget exactly ) and that they’d waited in all day when it was sent by regular first class and franked!
