Since you posted about it, I will have a look. I am staying in a hotel which is 2 minutes walk from there.

I will update this thread with my findings

So I visited this “Black Friday pop-up” event which @Anglozone posted about (thanks for the suggestion!) and I can say that it was really worth seeing!

The event will last until 25.November 2018 so anyone interested can still come.

While it is not an event for sellers, doesn’t take a place in the Amazon headquarters building and is public, it is still very interesting to see for all people who love Amazon.

The pop-up Amazon’s Home of Black Friday is in a building just in front of the Amazon HQ, in approx. 100 meters distance.

Here is my photo of the venue (address Amazon Pop-Up, 3-10 Shoreditch High Street London, E1 6JL United Kingdom):

As I already mentioned, there is a free, public entry.

The place was packed with people at the time when I came. At the reception, they were giving away some freebies to all visitors, which I didn’t get because I had my hands full of bags but I might stop there again today.

It is basically a presentation of various popular brands, which offer their products for sale on Amazon but also Amazon services such as Prime, Handmade and Amazon Music.

There are several rooms where you can explore the products yourself. Unlike at the seller events, photos are allowed and even the staff were asking everyone to take lots of photos and share them on the social media.

Also, there were lots of TV presenters and people with big cameras taking videos of the people presenting the products. I think that some of them were celebrities but I don’t really know the UK celebrities so I can’t tell who was it.

In the first room, there is a presentation of Amazon Health & Beauty. Women can have their makeup and hair done by professional staff, including Nicky Clarke using branded products from top labels.
.

.

In the second room, there is an “Amazon Bar”, where they are serving amazing coctails. All drinks are free. And in the same room, there is a presentation from PlayStation, where you can try playing a game with the virtual reality headset. I tried it and it was really cool!
.

.
In the third room, there is a presentation of Amazon Handmade, LEGO toys, Nescafe machines, electronics from Samsung, cooking gear and accessories.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.
The fourth room is made to literally look like a winter country. There is fake snow everywhere and it is snowing. There are Chistmas trees and tree trunks to sit and take photos.
.

.

.
Then when you leave the room, it is the end of the presentation. But the event is open for several days and there are different performances taking place with some special guests.

I think that this event is very suitable to visit with children.

At 19:00, there was a performance by some Amazon Music artist:

.
The event was open all night, even after the performance ended.
