Variation Theme Explanations?

Is there any Amazon literature on what type of values are allowed for each variation theme in each category? I'm trying to understand variations better.

For instance, within https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QGX5YCK I would think the variations are more of a "quantity" theme, not "size"? But the Health and Household category may differ?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CF2FNQKM?th=1 shares two wildly different products, and doesn't follow the "Could the products share the same title?", however, is this "pattern name" theme something that allows for these differences?

These products are sold by Amazon with one being Amazon branded, so I assumed their allowed in some way.

For the first example you mentioned, B07QGX5YCK, you're eligible to have variations by quantity. For this ASIN it's labeled as Size, but Quantity variations are allowed. Thanks for passing along the feedback.

The second, B0CF2FNQKM, the seller is selling two different products, that option is more likely a bundle and not a variation as variations are generally similar but vary by size, color, and flavor as some examples.
