Commingled inventory unaccounted for at one Amazon warehouse for weeks
Sent some high in demand inventory to AVP1 as commingled, thinking I will save a lot of time from labelling individual units, but, after they got delivered (as per the tracking data), numerous units have not been officially received for weeks now. I know many here will ask why I took the chance of having my inventory commingled and the reason was that I had the invoice with all the S/Ns and the timestamped pictures of all the individual units whose S/Ns matched the ones on the invoice.
I opened a case for one shipment after it had been closed with discrepancies, showing it as having been short on several number of units but since the case was opened, I keep getting an automated email every three days which states the following:
Hello,
Thanks for your continued patience. We are currently researching your issue in partnership with the responsible team. We'll provide an update as soon as any additional information is available.
I talked to someone in seller support but I still haven't seen any progress. The second shipment was delivered soon after the first and while it was delivered (as per the tracking information) it is now showing as being transferred to JAX2 without any official confirmation of the receipt of all the units at AVP1. The receipt date at JAX2 keeps getting pushed forward.
I have been selling on Amazon since 2019 and this is the first time I have had to face an issue like this. Ironically I keep getting emails from Amazon about how I need to get in touch with this person or that who can help me increase my sales to businesses and international markets. Moreover, I like others keep getting emails asking for inputs on how to make things better for 3rd party sellers like me. Really funny, I know.
What is beyond me is that by doing this, Amazon is ensuring sellers effected by this are not going to send that particular inventory, probably ever again, costing Amazon in the long run as well. They have all the data, can make all sorts of projections but cannot figure out this simple logic? Doesn't make any sense.
Would be interesting to get some insights from other members or someone from Amazon support. What do you think? Should I keep my hopes up?

Hi @Seller_KTpzu1Lh9iG8Y,
Thank you for reaching out and for your patience here!
I'm just coming across this thread and wanted to check in with you, has there been any updates on these shipments since posting?
If you are still experiencing these discrepancies, have you requested an investigation via the Contents tab of your shipments? If you haven't done so already, I would highly recommend doing so now. For more information on requesting an investigation, please read through this help page.
Also, if you can please send me your shipment IDs and cases IDs for this, I'd be happy to take a further look into those cases to see how I can assist further!
Thanks again,
Jameson
