Switch back to Professional seller from Individual due to increased sales
I sell books. For many years I paid the professional sellers monthly fee. A few years ago I switched to ’ Individual Seller’ since I was not selling enough to justify the monthly payment. My sales have increased recently, due to new stock and, probably, lockdown. My question is, if I switch back to Professional am I likely to trigger Verification actions again ( I have done all that at least twice I think and its always a bit nerve wracking and arduous), Does anyone else have experience of switching between professional and individual seller status, and back again without complications ? Thank you.

I too am a bookseller , was Pro for many years, then downgraded beginning of last year for exact same reason - my sales dropped to below 30 a month (after being at least 80-100 per month for years).
I upgraded near beginning of lockdown as my sales jumped and have been selling an average of 2/3 a day since, sometimes more.
…and no, the upgrade did not trigger anything, just the fee !.
Have to say the sales are beginning to dwindle again - have had a couple of odd days with none - maybe now lockdown easing.

Thanks for all the helpful comments and suggestions. My question initially was about possibly triggering verification, and I was reassured that this was not an issue. I hadn’t anticipated the shipping chargers issue, and was somewhat thrown by that. I have it more or less sorted now, but I need to familiarise my self with either their different templates or make my own. Some lightweight books I am happy to ship abroad, but not the heavier ones, and on the previous system it was easy just to enable international shipping or not. Also, I used to offer expedited shipping until the lockdown, but haven’t offered it on any of my new listings to avoid actually having to go into a post office. The different speed of delivery rates one can now offer seems to require some some head scratching and research on my part. I think I’m just a bit lazy and was bumbling along with a familiar set up and rather happy with the increased sales, alternated with gardening !!! And enjoying no longer having to lug books to fairs or markets and thinking ’ this is the life’ !!! Hey ho !
