Would they be the saw blades by any chance?
What exactly are they saying is the problem with them?
Have you looked in the dashboard for issues reported with the products?
It may well just be a couple of silly comments!

It has only been 28 days since you successfully appealed the removal of 1 ASIN for safety issues !
In your plan of action did you say you had deleted the ASIN/product from your inventory? Because if you have relisted it you are asking for trouble.

Nope :frowning:
The title for the blocked item is for example:
Saw Blade for Angle Grinder 125mm for Wood Cutting Discs Circular 125x22x60T
and for the one that remained active:
Saw Blade for ANGLE GRINDER 125mm for Wood Cutting discs Circular 125x22x40T TCT 125mm 5inch

The only difference is the number of teeth this saw blade has.

Moreover, they once blocked this listing claiming it is hazmat (or a knife - do not remember exactly) but apologised and confirmed that I can sell them without any restrictions after investigating the issue…

I don’t know about saw blades, someone probably cut off their finger or something. When we’ve had this in the past it has been triggered by someone making an outrageous complaint that caused amazon to suspend it.

We had to submit:

CE Certificate
CE Testing Report
EMC Report
Declaration of Conformity
Product Manual
Product Images showing correct marking on the product and packaging.

After we supplied that, they reviewed the info and re-instated the listings.

I got a response from SS:

Dear Seller,

Greetings from Amazon FBA Selling Partner Support.

Thank you for keeping patience so far.

My name is Ajay from FBA Seller Support is here to assist you today with your query. Through your e-mail, I understood that, your concern is regarding safty notification and no listing error for ASIN- B01LMBESMG, B06X1CSTPJ , B01DV1HSU4, B06X1C11LD and B01AVECRD2.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you.

The product has been risk assessed by the authority and determined to be not permitted for sale due to non compliance with the General Product Safety Regulations due to the following: “The risk is that kickback will cause severe cuts or loss of finger etc. or even death”. Any saw blade expressly or implicitly compatible or suitable for use with angle grinders are impacted by this assessment, and are not permitted for sale.

Blades are not permitted for sale. I had the same issue 2 years ago with callus shavers with 10 razor blades. After 3 months I got them back for sale again (minus the blades).

there is a blades FBA programme but only invite only.

Here is where I am now:

I asked the importer and they said that they do not have any certificates as they are not required.
They also said that any sharp item rotating with speed of 1100 rpm is obviously dangerous and one has to wear protection.

Anyways, it means that the case is lost.
I just resupplied and now have to dispose of all of my items (one piece is about 70p and return charge is 60p per item, so it does not make much sense).
I have about 1,5k pounds worth of stock to destroy plus I will pay about 200 pounds for its destruction.

Joy.

Once again, thank you guys for your input.
I am very grateful that you spend your time helping some random guy on the internet.

However, I kindly ask to keep doing that.

This is the response I got today:

Dear Seller,

Thank you for contacting Amazon Seller Support.

I understand that your concern is regarding the reinstatement of the ASIN: B01AVECRD2. Kindly allow me to address your concern.

*** Reinstatement of the ASIN: B01AVECRD2 ***

The internal team that was working on this particular issue has got back to us with the below mentioned updates.

They have told you to undertake the following actions to reinstate your ASIN:

1.Kindly make sure that EU Inventory for the ASIN is cleared (if any changes were made to the product)

  1. Also, provide us with the following documents:
  • Statement responding to the recall reason - must explain possible causes and show corrective actions

  • Pictures of the product and packaging showing mandatory markings.

  • Instructions for use translated into each corresponding language according to the country of sales.

The documents must be submitted in a PDF/ZIP format.

  1. means that I basically need to remover all affected inventory from Amazon warehouses, right?

  2. will be the harder part.
    a) will be some kind of Plan of Action
    b) seems to be about CE markings
    c) Not sure what should be included in the manual, but writing something like this does not look like big problem.

Right now, the packaging looks like this:
i-blaukraft-tarcza-do-drewna-210-x-24t-x-32-30-25-4230x24-tyl-1541639463-1541639490

Those images are for saw blades of different sizes, but look the same. Should there be anything else apart from CE mark?

00

Seller_peDwbbfBk34CQ

I have done my research too and it seems what you said is true.

Everything comes down to CE marking and complying with Directive 2006/42/EC on Machinery.

It is funny in a sad way that I need to make the importer aware of these requirements…

I have just written an email telling them what they need to do but do not have high hopes. Suprising they lasted this long.

In total I have over 2000 saw blades in my inventory right now. I am based in Poland.

I have done my research too and it seems what you said is true.

Everything comes down to CE marking and complying with Directive 2006/42/EC on Machinery.

It is funny in a sad way that I need to make the importer aware of these requirements…

I have just written an email telling them what they need to do but do not have high hopes. Suprising they lasted this long.

In total I have over 2000 saw blades in my inventory right now. I am based in Poland.
