Our $4 billion investment in rural delivery

To help you offer even faster delivery speeds to customers in small towns across the United States, we're investing over $4 billion by 2026 to expand our rural delivery network.

At a time where many logistics providers are backing away from serving rural customers because of cost to serve, we're stepping up. We'll grow our rural delivery network's footprint to over 200 delivery stations, allowing us to deliver over a billion more packages each year.

This investment will not only make it easier for millions of customers - from Milton, Florida to North Pole, Alaska - to get what they need, when they need it, but we estimate it will create over 100,000 new jobs and driving opportunities.

yes, B/c UPS and USPS don't want to accept your low payouts to use their service ( oddly enough FedEx inked a deal after cutting you off awhile back) Now you can underpay the poor souls that are 'contractors' to deliver bought by Amz, Made in China stuff.... Congrats.

Ok, but when do we get the same tracked plain envelope option as shipping? The other 2 large marketplace doing it, only Amazon won't do that. Even though it would help the sellers 9 out of 10 times. (That's about the rate that the Pitney Bowes tracking works with USPS plain envelopes.)

So, what's the hold up? Both other marketplaces doing it for like 2 years now, only Amazon fell behind. :-(

We 3PL sellers are not impressed by your grossly inflated exaggerated claims.

You (Amazon) can't get your act together, in timely inbounding and receiving inventory. It's all a joke to you.

500 employees per station? I find that number as hard to swallow as your claim that you love 3PS.

Those of us in rural areas really look forward to the increase in deaths and accidents due to the way that Amazon brings drivers onboard (often lending them money they have to recover through driving), then changes the metrics by which they're allowed to keep driving, leading to unsafe driving conditions and vehicle maintenance. [Google these stories, plus the driver-P-bottle byproduct that was a top seller in the "energy drink" category on Amazon for a while ... the predictable outcomes from Amazon's employee-abusive practices are tragic.]

Offering the "same" service to the customer is not the same as being the same employer as UPS (which wants nothing to do with you in this area, in spite of being the experts in this topic ... which corners will you need to cut to rationalize this decision? I bet it won't be C-suite salaries.) Of course, anyone who isn't an Amazon employee or customer can go scrod themselves, so this all means nothing to you.

On the other hand, when you finish killing my brand, I will have an awful job waiting for me, with no employee protections. Thanks, Amazon. I "love" you too.
