I have no clue what is going on with this sales venue. I have never seen it so slow, it's even slower than the beginning of the pandemic. All listings show active and feature offer available. My other venues are down too but nothing like on Amazon.

I normally say that sales fluctuate, but I'm down about 30% so far this year with basically the same inventory and product lines.
Yes, something is rotten in Seattle (well, more rotten than normal).
Since sales stink I'm using it as an opportunity to go away for a week and actually have a life for a change!

Not sure about your area, but this year I've seen a huge increase in competition. In addition, these new competitors are desperate to sell a ridiculously low price, practically working for free (might even be loosing $).

Has your BSR changed? If yes, then it is to be investigated for the following: Inventory levels, listing issues (deal/coupon removed, image/title/bullets changed, new negative review showing on top, all child ASINs merged and active), competition (lower price, better new images, more paid ads on top keywords), ppc (reduction in click/spends, lower CTR or CVR, change in placement), organic impressions (seasonal searches). I am suffering the same problem. My sales are down 94% over this time last year.
I had to lay off my employees and am sitting on about 100k in inventory. Thankfully I pay for everything when I purchase so there are is outstanding debt, otherwise I would be heading to bankruptcy.
Not sure there will be enough in the coffers for the $39.99 fee for Amazon each month if things do not turn around.
Not panicking yet, but feeling stressed about it. I am normally a big supporter of Amazon, but I am beginning to waiver.
I opened a case with Seller Support on 28 April to find out what is going on with my account, so far there is zero response from that department.

One thing I notice on the buyer end, when I type in the search bar, no matter how many items is says 500 or 5000 available, I am only shown 7 pages.
As an example, if I type in “Dog Leash” is says over 6000 results but at the bottom of the page it is limiting me to only 7 pages of results to look through?
Once I get through 7 pages in the search, there is nothing more to see. As a buyer I am not able to see all offerings. I have tried this for days and am only shown 7 pages of what I search for.

read the news. Retail, all retail, is being hit hard. Seems impossible to believe we are not in a recession right now. If consumers are spending, it’s on other things than retail, online or otherwise. And sales are down the most for us on Amazon. This year has probably been our worst year since we started on this platform. Other platforms are doing much better.
