Account deactivated without any reason?
Dear all,
My account on Amazon FBA has been suspended and I am not sure why. It was suspended after 00:00AM on the 14th of December, which is also payout day. My seller account has 0 Bad feedback, 0 returns etc. I listed everything as should be. Amazon hasn’t (yet) got back to me about this either. My products are still on active, which I also find strange. So, no money, no items and no answers. What is happening?
I have had £427 worth of sales with no apparent issues from Amazon or any buyer. Surely this is not too much made in 2 weeks?
Can anybody help me?

It’s possible that it is a velocity review. Amazon will do this when there is a sudden upsuge in sales, especially if a new seller. It may be worth sending items tracked for a bit (I’ve assumed you are still selling as you’ve said your items are active) so that Amazon can see that your orders are reaching your customers.

According to the message you’ve been suspended for Sales rank search & browse violation. You therefore need to get down to the root cause of this. Once you’ve done that you will need to prepare a plan of action. My advice is not to submit any POA without posting it here 1st as you only get so many attempts before your account is permanently deactivated.
1st things first though is to determine your root cause. I’d suggest reading through the policy pages provided in those links and see if you recognise where you’ve gone wrong. Another area to look at is your key words; have you included any brand names there?

One thing i will add is i havent received a payment before and at exactly 1200 hours on the day i was meant to receive payment my account became suspended. Up until that point all was fine. Should i read into this at all? are they withholding payment from me and suspending the account for another reason to try and get away with this? Or am i reading into it too much.

You can request payments every 24 hours, I am sure it has nothing to do with the suspension.
Amazon is complicated and sometimes you can break rules even without knowing.
The reason you account was suspended can be bought reviews or feedbacks, requesting 5 star reviews from customers, placing orders from yourself, using inaccurate and confusing search terms (like other brands or not relevant words).
Try to look into your account very thoroughly to provide the best POA, otherwise you wont move forward and your account will remain inactive.

What i find absurd is the fact we as partners are expected to do all the work for them but the system clearly knows the issue. Why not state the issue and then it can be resolved? or is the confusion they cause deliberately meant to make it hard for people? seems an odd business decision.

this could be the issue. I sold a copy of this book which was the newer version with a different cover.
Could this have been an issue for the customer and they have then gone to customer support and it was flagged perhaps? I also sold a PJ masks drawing table that had an extra P in the title. It was called P PJ masks. Genuine mistake on my part, i have checked all other listings and they seem sound.
I have added information to my application and the images above, explained that i was in error and that i am now aware of the importance of correct listing practices and the need to provide an excellent service to the customer. Hopefully this will resolve it. But who knows…

Hi @Price_Versa,
From the notification screenshot share in the response section of the post, it appears that the selling privileges of the account has been taken down because of sales manipulation.
Sellers on Amazon are expected to operate in full compliance of Amazon’s policies and seller code of conduct.
Any attempt to manipulate ratings, feedbacks, reviews, sales, etc are considered against seller code of conduct
To have your account reinstated, an appeal with a plan of action is expected from your end highlighting the below points:
-Acknowledgement and the methods used to obtain orders that violate Amazon selling policies including placing orders for your own products.
– A list of the orders placed in an attempt to manipulate sales or misuse the A-to-z guarantee.
– The steps you have taken to prevent sales manipulation going forward.
To have an insight on the policy, please visit Amazon’s selling policies and seller code of conduct in your help pages along with help pages for prohibited seller activities https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/help.html?itemID=G200386250&.
Wishing you luck,
Fidak

This is a common thing at this time of year. They have done this to us and are holding £19,400.00 of ours and we cannot get to talk to anyone. No one wants to answer us and the only time you hear from anyone is to ask for more information. We have provided them with everything they have asked for yet out funds are frozen. They are allowing us to keep selling but wont pay out. This could close our business yet they are not interested. They just want to hold your money to make more interest and use your money for their own investments.

Just an update- Amazon are still selling my stuff even though i am deactivated. I am receiving emails but the sales money isnt adding to my total. So they are happy to sell my products but i am still deactivated…Any way to stop them doing this? No idea if i will ever get my money back from them at this point.
