Unable to list any book
I have been selling books for close to a year, with good account health. I have been unable to list any book at all for a couple of weeks. I have talked to two customer services reps and emailed several times, with no resolution. Twice I have been told the matter is being sent to an internal team and then I never hear back.
Here is what the message says, when I try to list a book:

Refurbished condition: You are not approved to list this product and we are not accepting applications at this time.Sorry, the ability to create a listing for this item is restricted.
This is NOT about "requesting approval." I have seen several other people on this forum with the same problem and it seems that eventually, a moderator notices and looks into it. Please help!

Why don't you share a few of the ISBNs / ASINs that you are unable to list.
We can see what sort of results we have with those.

I got approved to list 2 different books 5 minutes ago and then went to list them and suddenly I am not able to lost them for some reason. ISBN are 9780393603033 and 9781544336664. I don't understand it. I'm trying to sell used, which I was approved for and then it takes me to a page where I have to ask permission from the company etc to sell it new, which it's not new and I'm not trying to sell it new. One took me to a we aren't accepting applications to sell refurbished even though I'm not refurbishing a book and was just approved to sell it.

You don't have to watch the video or even hit play. I have been "through" that page a number of times. Never looked at the video. Always instantly approved after taking the test.
Always have to wait several hours after approval before listing.

Sometimes in media, this is a bug for me. Are you trying to list it from the Amazon product page by clicking on the "sell your item" button? If so, try going to seller central > Manage Your Inventory > Add A Product. For some reason it seems to work most of the time that way when it doesn't the other way.

Do you have a book currently listed? Go in and try to list another copy (like a new copy if yours is used, etc.) and see what happens.

Did you try changing browser? or computers?
Something like this happened to me when they started updating their site - formatting etc. I couldn't press certains buttons on one platform and it wouldn't submit or search on the other.
First I started to change browsers and I noticed that some applications would work, but others not. Then I changed to a newer computer (it wasn't easy) but... it worked.

I thought it was just me. I listed around 800 book listings yesterday and dozens of them came back inactive saying I need approval to sell them. I thought Amazon was just trying to gate the whole market. Does not matter if they are new or used.

I ask because I have friends that are not and they have this problem. I don't normally (I'm a ProMerchant accout) but I almost never list books anymore.

You need another basket. (As in "don't put all your eggs in one basket")
Biblio, ABE, eBay, etc.
There are many good books that you cannot sell on Amazon for a variety of reason.
1. Idiotic pricing "errors" wherein Amazon believes a bot knows how to priced a used book and a seller of fifty years experience does not.
2. Detail page errors that mean sure-fire trouble if you list there -- and no longer possible to correct those due to Seller Support believing that covid means you never ever have to do your job again.
3. Hijacked books pages (see above about no fixes)
4. Detail pages created by people who know diddly-squat about books so have created a page about a book that does not exist and never has (no that is NOT leather binding)
5. etc.
