Charges for Paused Keyword in PPC

Hello,

I have a sponsored brand campaign running and suddenly, beginning March 13th, I am seeing charges for clicks for an exact key phrase that has been paused for 2 years. I contacted support and they confirmed the issue and escalated it. Today, my case is showing as answered and the support person said they checked and that "it not receive clicks".

Has anyone had a long paused keyword start showing clicks and, orders and charges? I;ve never seen it. Seems odd to show clicks and charges on a report that are not real charges. For the amount of money we pay Amazon, I would expect it to work better than this.
