Amazon Professional Selling Plan

Hi, I am brand new on this venture. I am in the UK and have chosen Amazon Professional Account when I signed up. It shows all the countries in Europe and America. I got charged £30 and then all the small charges of £0.87 from different countries. I am so confused. What are those charges? I just want to try to sell in the UK first. How can I set up just selling in the UK? Does the professional account come with Europe and US? Any experience / advice would be greatly appreciated.

Professional is not an account type, but one of the available selling PLANS. The £30 is a monthly fee for that plan. The Individual plan, you pay an extra fee (90p) per sale, so only worth being on the Pro plan if you sell a minimum of 33/34 items a month. You can request a refund of the £30 if you have sold nothing. The .87p will be the small nominal amounts to check your bank account.
If you are buying goods to sell on for profit then you must have a BUSINESS Seller Account and be registered with HMRC as self-employed - probably sole-trader if this is a new venture. You will need to receive your UTR to be able to open a Business seller account.
There is a lot more to it, that could be explained, but could take all day !!!.
