i am buying product from a manufacturer but will sell on Amazon under my own brand /shop name . who should buy UPC bar codes , the manufacturer or me.

As @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9and @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC stated, this would depend on the branding for the product and whether or not it is established on Amazon already. One thing to keep in mind, per the Valid UPCs page, is that we verify the authenticity of product UPCs by checking the GS1 database. UPCs that do not match the information provided by GS1 will be considered invalid. So you will want to check the GS1 website for validity.
