Listing Unbranded product with EAN numbers

Hi,

I am looking for some advice. We have unbranded product that are labelled with our own EAN numbers (registered through GS1) but every time we try to list we get an error message saying that the EAN does not match the product. I have double checked our GS1 account and the information in both is identical. Contacted seller support and they said we need to list Generic as the brand in both our listing and GS1 which we have done yet we are still getting the same error message. We do not need a GTIN exemption as the product has been barcode labelled with our EAN number. Please can some one advise how we can list this product as unbranded but with our EAN number?

I have also tried using None and N/A in the brand field but still come across the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi in GS1 when you go into your numbers are you completely filling all the boxes and not putting N/A in them?
Amendments can take upto 72 hrs from GS1 to amazon at times.

I haven’t been able to list products (branded) for such a long time. It used to be so easy and now there always seems to be an error. It takes about 50 back and forth messages with seller support before someone finally investigates rather than sending back a generic response.

I’m 99% sure the system has a massive glitch currently.
