Business Number Update
I have been trying to change my business number on my seller central account. I spoke to Amazon support and was directed to submit my tax information in order to be able to edit my business number. I proceeded to complete my tax information and I am still not able to change my business number because it is greyed out. Has anyone had a similar experience? if so, how did you go about getting it resolved?

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
First, ensure that all your tax information updates have been fully processed by our system (this typically takes 24-48 hours after submission)
If you're still unable to edit the business number after this period, you'll need to:
- Contact Seller Support through the "Get Support" button in Seller Central
- Select "Account Settings" > "Business Information"
- Request a "Business Information Update Case"
Important Note: Business number changes require additional verification for security purposes. This cannot be done directly through the user interface, even after tax information updates.
The support team will need to:
- Verify your identity
- Review your updated documentation
- Manually update the business number on your behalf
For fastest resolution, please have the following ready when opening your case:
- Your updated business documentation
- Government-issued identification
- Proof of business ownership
