How to get more customer feedback for my store (NOT product reveiw)

I have been selling on amazon for some time now. But i do not get enough feedback for my store.

Somewhere on this forum, i read that customer review rate is only 1.5%. Even by that count, i don't have enough feedback.

My product and delivery stats are great. I wonder why i do not get customer feedback.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello @Seller_UfwmtqsaEt9rY

Thank you very much for reaching us in Amazon forums, this is Lucre, and I'll be happy to assist!

I understand it's important to get customer feedback to your products and store, this definitely helps to increase trust of buyers and credibility.

My recommendation is that you apply some best practices to your customer service techniques, so buyers can leave positive feedback, as this depends on the buyer satisfaction from your service as a seller rather than how satisfied they're with your product.

Please see the best practices on the below links:

Customer Service Fundamentals

How to receive good feedback with customer service

Also, remember that Amazon emails buyers on your behalf to leave their feedback on their order, so if you make a good impression following the above recommendations you will increase your chances of buyers providing their good feedback.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Thank you @Lucre_Amzn

I went through the provided links. They provide good guidance for when the seller is contacted by the buyer.

HOWEVER, in my case, there never is any contact with the buyer. Like I mentioned in my previous message - my product is good, my delivery is good. There is no reason for customer to contact me.

Is there some way to verify if Amazon is sending out the feedback emails? I ask because at some point, I had appointed a 3rd party service to send feedback emails. That did not help at all. So I stopped using their services. I just wanted to confirm if the process has reverted back to Amazon.

Hello @Seller_UfwmtqsaEt9rY

Thank you for following up! My recommendation is that you not only use customer service techniques when buyers reach out to you, but to make sure buyers know they're purchasing from you by proactively messaging them via the Buyer-Seller Messaging system.

The below scenarios are permitted to contact buyers proactively:

Resolving an issue with order fulfillment, requesting additional information required to complete the order, asking a return-related question, sending an invoice, requesting product review or seller feedback, or both, scheduling the delivery of a heavy or bulky item, scheduling a Home Services appointment, verifying a custom design, or any other reason where the contact is required for the buyer to receive their purchase.

This is available in the below help page:

Communication Guidelines

Regarding your question about the emails requesting buyer feedback sent by Amazon, your buyers should be getting those emails as opting-out of the 3P service should have reverted to us without a problem.

If you're unsure, my recommendation is to place a test order and confirm by yourself if you get these feedback request emails after the order is completed.

If you don't get the emails, first make sure that your buyer account is configured to get emails from Amazon and if you're still unable to receive the email, please contact our Seller Support team for further assistance and research on your behalf.
