Cancelation Rate

I just got my first pre-fulfillment cancel rate, we have been selling on Amazon for 15 years. What happened is I got a sale to Guam, the package was too big and heavy so there were no shipping available to ship the item. So I contacted Amazon and told them what happened and they said it would be ok to cancel since I cannot ship the item. I was looking at my performance and now I have a 10% pre-fulfillment rate. I opened a case and they said that since I canceled the order it affected my metrics. Any options, to get this taken off. I couldn't ship the item so what I supposed to do.

Amazon does not care how you ship it. You listed it with available shipping to that country and AFTER the order figured out you can't. You need to do your research BEFORE you offer international shipping. The defect will drop off eventually, but it will not be removed.

Actually Guam is domestic, but that doesn't mean you can afford to ship just anything there.

Edit the templates you use for large / heavy items. You can remove the Guam group (or try and see it the system lets your)

For a low volume seller a single cancellation hurts. But you won't be shut down for that. It can cost you buy-box eligibility (and probably will, but not immediately)
