Hi all,
We received the following email a couple of weeks ago for a product that we have been selling at the price point at the time for at least a year.
"Below is a list of product(s) in your catalogue that are not currently eligible to be the Featured Offer because they are not priced competitively compared to prices for those products from retailers outside Amazon."
In order to get the featured offer we had to drop our price by around 40% resulting in us now making a loss.
Our product was certainly priced competitively and we have sent two support tickets asking specifically what comparision was being made please in the determination that our offer was not competitive at the previous price i.e. what external offer(s) were we being compared to?
For context, this is our own branded product and we are the only seller on Amazon. Externally on another site we do sell the same product but actually for an even higher price point not lower. It appears that our product has been mismatched to an external offer somehow but we are getting nowhere with seller support that just keeps saying:
Your offer is eligible to be a Featured Offer based on price.
Please be informed that your offer is currently featured.
Anybody else experienced this and can provide a path to resolution?
TIA,
Steven
