Hello does anyone have any experience with Amaon removing your ability to sell a brand that is gated but you are white listed to sell. We have an agreement with a brand to be their sole distributor on amazon canada and 4 times in the past 3 years Amazon has slowly moved a large percentage of those branded ASIN's to our stranded inventory saying QUALIFICATION REQUIRED BRAND. They also don't allow us to replenish any of those branded ASIN's while this mistake is in place. The other 3 times we have emiled Jeff and eventually had the issue fixed but I have been waiting for a response from that email and in the mean time seller supoort has come back over 20 times with the same srtandard template saying click the reqest to sell button to seek approval. This can not be done as I have expalined to them every time as the brand is gated. Does anyone have any idea how to get this case escalated to executive seller relations team so they can correct the error?

Hello christine now for the last few days seller support have been replyng tto my every response with this absurdity in this same case
"Thank you for your report of a suspected policy violation. We cannot take action on the report as no violation has been identified on the reported 14646602401for the violation type selected."

Christine here, thank you for waiting for our response.
After checking with the team in charge about your case and the reason why you are not being allowed to sell the ASIN is because you need to contact the brand owner in order to request a change on the role, you need to be “Authorized Reseller”.
In this case, we confirmed you have the Brand Representative role, that's why you are not able to list the products.
I hope this clarifies the doubts you have.

thanks Christine, the brand has done this so we apprecaite your help. Any idea how long before we can expect Amazon to remove the restriction now that the brand has changed me to a reseller instead of a brand rep

Usually take up to 48 hours to be removed.
If after this time frame the issue persist, we do recommend you to contact Seller Support
