The buyer asserts that they did not receive their item, despite it being marked as delivered.
This is unusual. I use ShipStation for shipping software. I received a message from a buyer claiming their package is lost and requesting a refund. When I checked, it showed the package as delivered. I took a screenshot and sent it to the buyer. Why do people do this? I could understand if it had been a week or more.

Tracking is not proof of delivery.
If you used Amazon buy-shipping and fit all the criteria for INR protection, the buyer needs to file a claim.

Sure it is . I use shipstation and I use private shipping software that my friend installed and invented.

No, it doesn't, not for Amazon. You need to use their shipping, and this has been argued, but AHT and SSA should be active on your account for at least OTDR protection.

I don't use amazons shipping at all. my friend when he was alive he coded the shipping and I was told that plugins for shipping. he was a programmer developer and coder.

You are not listening-Amazon makes you use their shipping to get all the protections for delivery.

Hello @Seller_5DrrKeHsDwIGT
Christine here from Amazon Forums.
Unfortunately, what you're describing is a well-known issue in our seller community. First of all, you've handled this exactly right by verifying the tracking and providing evidence to the buyer. 👍
Here's what we recommend to our sellers:
- Always keep detailed tracking records
- Screenshot delivery confirmations
- Use signature confirmation for high-value items
- Report suspicious patterns through official channels
- Maintain professional communication
Remember, If you use Amazon Buy Shipping, you're protected under Amazon's Seller Protection Policy when you:
- Ship with tracked delivery
- Upload valid tracking information
- Ship to the address provided in the order details
If you're seeing a pattern of these claims from multiple buyers, please use the "Report Abuse" function, so our teams can investigate.
Keep doing what you're doing - verify, document, and maintain professionalism. Don't let these situations discourage you from being a great seller!
Christine.
