Legal Entity type Individual

I have selected the “individual” category as my legal entity for AMZ U.K. They sent me an email asking if what I have chosen was correct if not update on seller central. They broke down what each entity meant and explained that “individuals” did not sell for profit and if I believe this selection is correct to answer following questions. What items do I plan on listing? Who benefits from profit? I answered back! They then sent a email asking how many products do I plan to list in each category I answered 5-9 in each category. Two days later I received the initial email again asking me to change category or if I think it is correct answer the same questions. Can you all explain the requirements to sell as a individual in the U.K (not for profit) further.

Please help

It sounds like you plan to sell on Amazon to make money, you are listing multiple items so are not disposing of a few personal used things.

You are a business selling for profit (sole trader) not an individual.

The Individual legal entity is for people simply selling off their own personal second-hand items, so cannot list as New.
If you are selling mutliples of anything new then you are trading as a business (whether you make a profit or not) and so must be registered as such.
Note this is different from the Individual Selling Plan which is where you do not pay a monthly fee, but pay an extra fee per item sold.A business seller can use either the Pro selling plan or Individual Selling plan - usually dependent on the number of items they sell.

Re. above, so why have you opened a UK account if you don’t intend to sell on Amz. UK - am I missing something ?
