Urgent: 43 Days Without Resolution for India Post Reintegration Issue
I am writing to express my growing frustration regarding the unresolved issue with the reintegration of India Post on the platform. It has now been 43 days since I first reported this problem, and despite my repeated follow-ups, no resolution has been provided.
This issue has significantly impacted my business operations and financial stability in the following ways:
Increased Operating Costs:
Due to the unavailability of India Post, I am forced to rely on alternative courier partners. This has doubled my shipping costs, with charges ranging from ₹100-140 per kg compared to the ₹60 per kg rate offered by India Post. Additional charges for RTO (Return to Origin) shipments further compound the burden.
Competitive Disadvantage:
The increased shipping costs have necessitated raising my product prices, making my offerings uncompetitive. Consequently, my daily sales have plummeted from ₹12,000-₹10,000 to a mere ₹2,000. Sellers in my area who are able to ship through India Post continue to benefit from lower costs, putting me at a severe disadvantage.
Depleted OTDR and Declining Seller Rating:
The removal of India Post has negatively impacted my OTDR metrics. Additionally, customers have reported issues with unattempted deliveries by other courier partners, leading to complaints and further harm to my seller rating.
Timeline of the Issue:
Initial Complaint: I raised this issue 43 days ago.
Initial Response: The support team initially denied the availability of India Post shipping. I provided screenshots of the portal, complete with timestamps, to substantiate my claim.
Subsequent Communication: The team later acknowledged that some sellers were facing this issue but failed to provide an estimated time for resolution.
Escalation Request Ignored: When I requested details on where to escalate the matter due to the prolonged delay, no contact information or escalation email/number was provided.
This prolonged inaction has left me with no choice but to write this letter in hopes of a swift resolution. The inefficiency and lack of accountability displayed by the support team are unacceptable, especially given the severe financial and reputational damage I am enduring.
Requested Actions:
Immediate Reintegration of India Post: Expedite the resolution of this issue to enable me to resume shipping through India Post.
Transparency on Resolution Timeline: Provide a clear and realistic timeline for resolving this matter.
Escalation Contact Details: Share the contact information for a higher authority or escalation channel to ensure this issue is addressed promptly.
I urge you to treat this matter with the urgency it deserves. The continued delay in resolving this issue is causing irreparable harm to my business, and I am losing faith in the platform’s ability to support its sellers effectively.

India Post is pretty much there as an option for every seller by default.
I assume you do not see this option for products with guaranteed delivery times, like 2-day and 1-day. You may not see it for Prime shipping template too.
A hack is to ship it under Self Deliver, where no carrier is chosen and it is assumed you will deliver yourself. Then ship orders via India Post. Track each order, and once they are delivered update same on the Self Deliver app.
Also, Amazon will not change this system as it is logical, so no point to contact their support.

Have you tried using third party aggregators such as Nimbuspost, Shiprocket? Hell even Delhivery's direct account opening will give you cheaper rates. Rs. 100-140/kg seems excessive. That's completely unnecessary.
