EVRI refusing to refund lost shipment

Evri admit to losing it!
Here is the cruncher!! Evri are refusing to refund anything more than £20 as that is what is agreed with Amazon! and they tell me to take it up with Evri.
now! although at Xmas they ‘lost’ 100’s of items and A-Z all refunded, EVERY one was later delivered. This is the 1st order with Evri they have admitted to losing.
has anyone else had this? also Amazon do not allow any changes in ‘insurance’ so as it stands Evri seem to think they can lose any value item and refuse to pay up when they lose it!

Unfortunately they are right, £20 is the max compensation
For £100 items you really need a fully insured courier such as DPD or RM tracked or SD. I believe you can also buy higher insured postage direct from evri - just not through amazon
For items sent fully tracked, you don’t have to use buy shipping
