Your post doesn’t really make sense. Are you saying that you bought the product from a seller on Amazon, and then want to use that invoice to be registered to sell on Amazon? If so then that is not allowed. You need an invoice from the manufacturer/ authorised distributor directly

Hi King Street,

I am trying to understand what is going on.

Are you trying to sell CeraVe products on Amazon?

00

Seller_4UClVQ6omP32U

Razzamattazz has explained it well. Amazon's invoices are not accepted since then any random unauthorised seller could then buy from amazon and resell. This is in the Amazon policies. Some authorised agents pay a lot of money to become authorised, and you want to come in for free to resell someone's products without their permission?

First learn how amazon works.

The product of the 3rd party seller selling products on Amazon may not be original.

However, the Amazon itself that sells the product, CERAVE, makes an agreement with Amazon.

Amazon, you have a very large service and distribution network. He says "be my legal dealer" and they agree.

When we contact the brand and want to buy its products, the brand tells us to go and buy my products from Amazon. The brand publishes this on its own page. In the where to buy section.

Now, in this case, when the brand directs me to buy from Amazon, aren't the products I buy original? The brand tells me to buy from there.

Hi King Street,

You contacted CeraVe and they tell you to buy your products from Amazon right? CeraVe would have been under the assumption you wanted to buy their products for personal use. Yes they would have a "where to buy" section but it is for the purpose of people buying for their own personal use and NOT to resell using their brand name and trademark.

Yes the products are original that is not the issue. The issue is that you have not gained permission from CeraVe nor have you became an Authorised agent for the brand.

Patch is right. A CeraVe distributor or authorised agent would most likely have to pay a fee to be able to sell this very successful brand. CeraVe spends a lot of money on advertising, you probably see their ads on TV? This brand is not going to pay all this money for advertising to allow somebody else, not affiliated, to sell their products.

Hope this helps

Hi @Seller_ofuB6Vs9kGwA6,

Thank you for your post.

@Seller_4UClVQ6omP32U and @Seller_aSH3kxqOkQvwj has already provided you valid information regarding the policies, but just in case it wasn't clear enough and you need additional information, please check the links below.

Invoice requirements for appealing a policy violation

Invoices for Selling Applications (Seller University Video)

Introduction to Invoice Requirements (Seller University PDF)

The base purpose of this policy is that we need to confirm that you have an agreement with the manufacturer(brand owner) so that you can sell their products, and unless you are the brand owner or authorized agent, we request you to submit a valid invoice (from the manufacturer, etc,.).

@Seller_4UClVQ6omP32U and @Seller_aSH3kxqOkQvwj, thank you for providing advice to a fellow seller.

Do not confuse these 2 issues here, understand clearly.

1) The issue you are accusing me of is the inautentic product accusation.

I do not agree with this because I can prove where the products are sourced from and that the products are original.

It is obvious that I am right about the fraud that came to me, but you are not interested in this!!

2) requirements to be able to sell products. What you say here is true, I agree with you.

And I thought I was following this rule, this is how we learned from where we were educated.

Now we have learned better. and we will implement it.

summarize here.

1 My products are original, I definitely do not accept the warning you sent me. Therefore, I want my account to be opened and my other products to be given to me.

2. It may not meet the conditions for selling this brand, so do not let me sell this brand. I accept this.

You need to evaluate the issue this way.

You are connecting 2 issues together, but please examine it in detail.

Hi @Seller_ofuB6Vs9kGwA6,

Thank you for your reply.

Please understand that we look at both factors when considering the originality of products. It has to be original (materially) AND also has to be sold in the proper route. If one of them are not meeting the requirements, it would be recognized as a problem for the "product originality", and violating Amazon policies.

About reactivating your account, although I have no authority to make any sort of decisions, I can say that it is likely that you still will need to provide a valid invoice. I am not aware of any other alternative route.

Yes, both factors should be met when selling, but it needs to be corrected here.

1 ) It has to be original (materially)

- yes my products are original.

I prove this. from our supplier's invoices received from his supplier.

2) has to be sold in the proper route.

correct on this route. Because when I said add product, Amazon allowed listing and I sold it.

For example, some products require certain documents in order to sell them. It requires a few documents such as invoice and product photos. If I make a sale here with fake documents, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG. THE PUNISHMENT FOR THIS SHOULD DEFINITELY BE A COMPLETE LOCKDOWN.

But when I make an add product and I am not asked for any documents, is the problem with me or AMAZON?

Despite this, I sold completely original products. I sold it to customers at the most affordable price and all my customers who bought it are satisfied. There is no problem.

There are absolutely no fake documents or manipulations in the Amazon system. No rules were violated.

I know your policies very well, there is nothing that violates any of their articles.

you say: it would be recognized as a problem for the "product originality", and violating Amazon policies.

But what needs to be understood here is this:

The term product originality is wrong because the product is original and proven with invoices.

Amazon needs to separate these two issues here from the issue it accuses me of.

product originality and sales authority. but you are combining these 2 issues.

It would be understandable if it was suspended because you do not have the authority to sell to me.

But you say the product is original and you do not understand that the invoices are registered in my chain.

another topic: CERAVE BRAND

The brand creates a list on Amazon and come and sell my product on Amazon. There are no obstacles.

When we say add product, you can sell it to me if you don't ask for a document from us, but all products are ORIGINAL.

The brand is changing strategy. It removes all contacts from the lists.

Only people I allow can sell this product.

Yes, the right brand has the right to do such a thing.

People who will sell my product without LOA. He says he won't be able to sell and I will check his bills, it's very true.

What I don't understand is why the brand evaluates previous sellers with the decision it made.

Why don't you close your entire list from the very beginning and no one will sell it? But you say you can sell it to me, and then you evaluate it according to the new rule you made, looking back in time.

I think this place needs to be evaluated by Amazon officials.

in conclusion:

I absolutely do not accept that all the products I sell are original.

But I understand that you are no longer authorized to sell this brand and you cannot sell it.

That's right.

I think you should evaluate these two issues.

ABSOLUTELY, NON-ORIGINAL PRODUCTS SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED SALE PERMISSION.

Thank you for your reply.

Seeing all of the information which you provided so far, I'm a bit confused because from my end it looks like you violated our policy, but you claim that you haven't. So, can you answer to three of my questions below so that I can make sure that I am understanding your situation properly...?

1. Did you re-sell the product without any agreement with the manufacturer?

2. Have you submitted a document provided from the manufacturer which shows that you had permission to re-sell in the first place?

3. Has the brand owner added you on the Brand Registry system as an official distributor or agent?

Do not confuse these 2 issues here, understand clearly.

1) The issue you are accusing me of is the inautentic product accusation.

I do not agree with this because I can prove where the products are sourced from and that the products are original.

2) requirements to be able to sell products. What you say here is true, I agree with you.

And I thought I was following this rule, this is how we learned from where we were educated.

Now we have learned better. and we will implement it.

summarize here.

1 My products are original, I definitely do not accept the warning you sent me. Therefore, I want my account to be opened and my other products to be given to me.

you say: it would be recognized as a problem for the "product originality", and violating Amazon policies.

Hi @Seller_ofuB6Vs9kGwA6,

Thank you for your reply.
