Faulty disc - or faulty customer!

Customer requested a return of a Blu-ray disc as "it would not load". I asked if he had a Blu-ray player rather than a DVD player as we've never had a faulty Blu-ray. Turns out he only had a DVD player! Amazon refunded and charged me for return label. Blu-ray arrived today - dirty finger marks all over it, especially near the centre. Even if he had a Blu-ray player it would not have played. Best part of £25 down the drain - disc in bin. Happily these faulty customers are rare.

Was the return label an Amazon prepaid one?

You are charged for all these labels though return reason dependent the customer could have e the label cost deducted from the refund.

And if you feel they abused the return reason or returned in a damaged condition, you could open a safe t claim.

I accept this might just be an airing of general grievances which is fair! All need to let off steam sometimes!

Safe-T claim on this and cite that the law states software/media cannot be resold or returned once unsealed. so amazon should comp you some of the costs.
