ASIN Brand hijacked- URGENT!

Hi Jim,

I found through other seller posts, wanted to reach out as my ASIN is hijacked since March 6, reported abuse, case is filed but the hijacker sits on my listing starting 8AM every morning up until 9PM EST. Steals buy box, sales. They have already got counterfeit in their seller feedback, not sure why they are not trashed yet.

ASIN: B0DJPS8CT4

CaseID: 17398292161, required screenshots, case history is presented already to internal team & is being reviewed, I just wanted to know the timeline for the same & what is exactly happening since its a week, I lost rank/sales and completely anxious.

I have also reported violation on Brand Registry, Case ID: 17403172411

Please help me!! I am the only brand registered owner of OHaai, need protection.

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I happy to assist wherever I am able. The case ID and complaint ID you mentioned which are both still in review so I cannot comment on how that will turn out.

I always advise reviewing the Intellectual Property for Rights Owners help page. I suggest paying specific attention to the "Types of notices not accepted on Amazon," section. Specifically the Exclusive Distribution bullet point. Report a violation submissions should include Specific identification of the IP you believe is infringed.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or if you need assistance after a decision is made on your complaint ID.

Hi @Dougal_Amazon thanks, I have tried reporting 3 times, twice yesterday night and one this morning, not getting any email with complaint ID? What can be the issue? I did chat with seller support yesterday after submission, they asked to see if I receive it today.

This is the message I submitted: ‘chuwudianzi’ seller is selling a different product on ASIN B0DJPS8CT4 in the US marketplace (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJPS8CT4). The detail page shows OHaai patches with a box and has a FNSKU barcode (main image and listing images). Test buy Order ID 113-7003098-4413044 , received it contained just a set of patches with no box and is completely different from the product on the detail page.

Yes @Dougal_Amazon I am using the same workflow.. I selected different product under specify the reasons.

Submitted thrice from yesterday but did not receive any email with Complaint ID, chatted with seller support who just said Amazon will investigate and I won't receive any complaint # but previously I did receive. Can you pls check this one?

@Dougal_Amazonchatted with seller support, the complaint ID is 17520289211, since I submitted same content thrice they will collate all of it and above is the complaint#

I would sincerely appreciate it if the team can expedite since its close to a month & the hijacker is enjoying all my sales and pushed my listing hard along with ranking/sales. I am really frustrated!

Thank you for the complaint ID. With how the information you provided in this complaint ID, you received the correct response. You need to stick to only facts when reporting, state simply that the item you received is different than the detail page. I really do understand your frustration, but mentioning counterfeit will trigger the response to report an Intellectual Property violation. You cannot currently report a counterfeit because your TM is still pending. This is why you received the response you did.

Your report of abuse should be focused solely on the fact that you received a different product than the Detail page.

Hi @Dougal_Amazoncomplaint ID is 17520289211 is the complaint ID for April 1 which I submitted as a counterfeit but after our discussion here I tried reporting them as product received is different from the listing.. but for those I am not receiving complaint ID at all starting April 3/4 and even today I have not got complaint ID for my new submissions. I spoke to seller support and they say the same story asking me to wait.. how could I even without having a complaint ID? Secondly, its been a month since this seller chuwudianzi has taken over my listing. I am super frustrated. Seeking high priority support to resolve this asap.

I can only escalate issues that have a support case or complaint ID. Without that, I cannot validate what was submitted or weigh in on if the response you received was correct or not. That being said, when you submitted the report abuse using "The product received is different than the product on the detail page (different version, model or product)," what did you see after you submitted (since you are not getting a complaint ID email)... A screen that said thank you for submitting or something like that?

I can try 1 other thing, if you submitted the report abuse with an order ID, I can attempt to search for an ongoing investigation on that order ID.

  • 113-5838683-7869010 - I found only 1 case from 11 days ago and that mentions complaint ID 17507773321 - and a response was provided similar to our discussion here.
  • 113-7003098-4413044 - I found 8 cases, the most recent is from 4/4 where you were informed that this was being forwarded to another team (Case ID 17537730561)

Are there any other order ID's?

the chuwudianzi seller has now disappeared.. believe he has been pushed out. Fingers crossed. I am unable to track this complaint ID's submission from my end, can you help me know when I submitted this. I kind off lost my tracking data.
