Seller Identity Verfication

My account is on hold until I get ID verfication, however I have sent them all the correct documents.

I have opened 22 cases to get this resolved, and no one seems to do anything except send me the same stock answer.

" The document that you provided as a proof of identity is not acceptable for the following reason:

The number that you entered in Seller Central when you registered your account does not match the unique ID number in the identity document. Update the number in Seller Central to match the unique ID number in the identity document."

Question 1: Where do I find the number that I entered when I registered my account? They are asking me to update it, yet it is not clear what or where that number is so I can do that.

Question 2: I am often told I need to upload scanned versions of my documents - my photo ID as a Driver's License and my Passport - yet there is no link given for where I can upload that.

I have a Global account and a US account.

How can I get support for this? It's been over three weeks now, and it's very frustrating that no live support is available. The last three chat support requests closed without resolving the issue.

I too am having the same issue and keep going back and forth on this. My account has been inactive since the pandemic and I am trying to activate it. I supplied a bank account and photo id, but they now say that the number that you entered in Seller Central when you registered your account does not match the unique ID number in the identity document. Update the number in Seller Central to match the unique ID number in the identity document. Can you help me fix this?
