Weight and Measurment Scam, This is the biggest scam amazon easy ship is doing.

We have no success of claiming easy ship clawback in last 3 years. Every other month we get audit report of weight and measurements.

After submitting the images and proof to the team, they simply reject the claim although the weight and dimensions are correct in the provided images.

We have no clue about how they measure the package dimensions and what tools they follow.

It is huge loss of capital and profit (if there is profit)

This is harassment from amazon and easy ship team. If they really care about the correct weight and dimensions, they must have system in place to measure the product before its first sale or within week of product listing.

Sending audit report after a year or months have no point at all.

Have you accounted for 0.1 Kg packaging weight that they add to your calculation?

For example if your dead weight is 2.85Kg, and your volumetric weight is 2.95Kg. You will be charged for 4kg. I.e. 2.95Kg + 0.1Kg packaging weight = 3.05 Kg which will go into the 3-4Kg slab.

We had the same issue repeatedly, no luck with seller support.

Finally, we had to write to the CEO of Amazon India by email and someone from escalation team contacted us and it took about a month to get things sorted.

The only way to escalate any issue with Amazon seller support not providing any resolution is to write to the CEO.

I would encourage every seller to bombard them with emails about this issue, until they scrap it or implement it correctly.

Seems like seller support is not trained to address these issues and the processes, and the back end team which is supposed to handle these issues does not respond to seller directly and is behaving in a very poor manner and not following the processes as outlined by Amazon.

Hi Noor,

You need to look into this urgently, the Easy Ship team does not respond to image submissions within the 15 days that they promise once the form and template is submitted. This happens 75% of the time.

Many a times the submissions are rejected with absurd and obtuse reasons, without any clarity on the reason for rejection.

The reimbursements that are promised for affected orders never happens and we have to escalate to Seller support each time.

The team also makes false statements after escalation that multi quantity orders and multi ASIN orders the minimum weight recommendations does not come up. However this is not the case, and we have evidence.

This whole process is poorly implemented by Amazon and there is no checks and balances on this back end team, we have written to Amazon CEO 4 times already for this same issue in the past 2 years to get our reimbursements after the issue is dealt by the Escalation team.

The Seller support has no authority at all, and this back end Easy ship team seems to be very arrogant and asking Seller support not to raise any issue with them and forcefully close the cases without resolution by providing false information.

This is a deliberate ploy (it seems) to increase Easy ship earnings by creating fake weight discrepancies.

Why not simplify it by sharing images of the measurements taken by Easy Ship to justify the weights that are being recommended?

On each of these cases, we were only able to get a resolution on the escalated case, where we had written to CEO and the escalation team got involved. It is a shame that we have to write to CEO to address any escalation issue for a resolution. The seller support level 1 and leadership team get bullied by the easy ship team to force close cases without resolution.

Also, It has been 15 days since we filled and sent the images and template for weight correction of the below mentioned ASIN, we have not received any response from the team and neither has the weight been corrected. We are now paying higher Easy ship fees than necessary for all orders with this ASIN. This is something that has been happening for all submissions ever since this process was implemented.

I don't know if your reply is to us or @Seller_CHppKOB9jSGfy, but our cases are all related to the topic about the Easy ship team not following procedures as outlined in the Amazon policies itself.

We have has these issues since the implementation of this process and we have raised numerous escalated cases to get our reimbursements and weights corrected.

The Easy ship team is allowed to bully seller support (when we raise a case) into closing cases without resolution and false pretexts.

Please look into the case numbers, you will see the history and mismanagement of these cases.

The only way we have received resolution on each case was by involving Escalation team by writing to the CEO. This should not be necessary and evidence provided should be looked at by seller support instead of allowing them to be bullied by the Easy ship team which seems to have ultimate authority to manipulate this process to benefit them.

Hello guys, recently it is being seen that Amazon's Easy Ship team is charging extra from the seller by quoting wrong weight. This scam is being seen. In this, a flaw has been found in the alteration of weight by their backend team. In which, the items of lesser weight are being shown as items of higher weight and maximum charge is being taken for it. Even though I provided valid proof, they still did not reimburse any fees. Beware of their scam. 2 asin different and product also different but weight same mentioned in excel sheet. The weight that I have entered while scheduling the order will be visible to you and you can check the weight of the order in their report. This is the wrong way to scam them.

I don't know if your reply is to us or @Seller_CHppKOB9jSGfy, but our cases are all related to the topic about the Easy ship team not following procedures as outlined in the Amazon policies itself.

We have has these issues since the implementation of this process and we have raised numerous escalated cases to get our reimbursements and weights corrected.

The Easy ship team is allowed to bully seller support (when we raise a case) into closing cases without resolution and false pretexts.

Please look into the case numbers, you will see the history and mismanagement of these cases.

The only way we have received resolution on each case was by involving Escalation team by writing to the CEO. This should not be necessary and evidence provided should be looked at by seller support instead of allowing them to be bullied by the Easy ship team which seems to have ultimate authority to manipulate this process to benefit them.

we are also facing the same issue and even many times i provided the evidence of incorectely weight charged but they simply rejected it. there is no solution of this issue. if it happens regularely we have to shut down our business.

In this, a flaw has been found in the alteration of weight by their backend team. In which, the items of lesser weight are being shown as items of higher weight and maximum charge is being taken for it. Even though I provided valid proof, they still did not reimburse any fees. Beware of their scam. 2 asin different and product also different but weight same mentioned in excel sheet. The weight that I have entered while scheduling the order will be visible to you and you can check the weight of the order in their report. This is the wrong way to scam them.
