Minimize the Cost of Fulfillment

We would like to inquire about the additional packing of cartons before sending our products to customers. Our FBA product already has strong packaging that is suitable for posting to customers. However, we are aware that Amazon uses an extra layer of carton to place our packaging inside and deliver it to customers. Do we have the option to choose whether we want to include the extra layer of carton and minimize the cost of fulfillment?
